How do I split a PDF?
Upload a PDF, enter page ranges separated by commas (e.g. 1-3, 5, 7-10), and click Split. Each range becomes a separate PDF file, downloaded as a ZIP.
How do I specify page ranges?
Use dashes for ranges (1-5) and commas to separate ranges (1-3, 5, 7-10). If left blank, the entire PDF is extracted as one file.
What format is the output?
The split pages are bundled into a ZIP file. Extract the ZIP to get individual PDF files for each page range.
Is there a limit on PDF size?
PDF files up to 50MB are supported.
Can I extract a single page?
Yes. Enter a single page number (e.g. 3) to extract just that one page as a separate PDF file.

Can I split a PDF by file size instead of pages?
Our splitter extracts pages by page range. To split by file size, split into individual pages first, then merge groups of pages until you reach the desired file size.
How do I extract every other page from a PDF?
Use comma-separated page numbers. For example, to extract pages 1, 3, 5, and 7, enter: 1, 3, 5, 7. To extract all even pages from a 10-page PDF, enter: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10.
Does splitting reduce the quality of my PDF?
